Begin by logging in to your site. From your main page click on "Login" and fill in the username and password you were given and click Login again. You will notice that the control panel will appear in the top portion of the frame and a new menu item called "Admin" appears in the menu list below the banner.
The Control Panel
The Control Panel extends across the top of the work area.
The panel consists of three sections: Page Functions, Module Management, and Common Tasks.

Page Functions appear to the far left. Here you can add, delete or copy pages within your site, and preview work you have done as visitors to your site will see it. The Settings will only affect the page you are currently viewing, and control items such as the page name, security permissions, and where the page appears in the menu.

In the center you will find module management. Modules have specific functions, such as holding text and images, displaying a news feed, or managing a calendar of events. The most common module is Text/HTML. Here you can insert written content, add pictures, and, if so desired, work with the HTML source code.

To the right you will find icons for quick links to common tasks, including site settings, user account administration, file management and access to our online help features.
Choosing a Design
The first step in creating your site is to determine what design you want to use. Designs for WebMedley are called "skins." Each skin will have different pane, navigation (menu) and color options, so it's best to choose one before you begin adding content. You will be able to change the skin later, if desired, or apply a different skin to an individual page. Just keep in mind that you may have to rearrange your modules on the new design if the number or location of the panes is different. You will not lose any content if you change skins.
To see examples of the different skins available to you, click HERE.
To change the skin of your site:
In the menu, click on "Admin" and select "skins"

Determine which skin you wish to use and click the "Apply" button beneath it.
Containers
Skins affect the way your site looks and "feels" across all pages. Containers are the design elements that surround a module. If you look at the site designs page, you'll see that some areas have shaded backgrounds, and some titles are set against a solid header area. These are examples of different containers. Containers are designed to pick up colors from the skin you've applied to your site. To see how different containers will appear on the skin you've chosen, simple go to the site designs page and click on the image of the skin you've chosen. A new page will open with images of each available container as it would appear on that skin.
To change the default container for your site, go to Admin->Skins, and choose the container style (box, line or rounded) from the drop-down menu next to Container: A menu of all containers in that style will be displayed. To apply the container, simply click on the Apply link below the image of the container you wish to use.
Getting Started
You will begin working on your page by adding a Text/HTML module. To add a module:

1.) Look in the center of the control panel and click on the down arrow next to “Select a Module”
2.) Choose Text/HTML
3.) Type a title for the module – (e.g. church name) This will appear as a heading to your content area. If you do not enter a title, it will default to "Text/HTML." You can change this title later by adjusting module settings.
4.) Determine what pane you want to position the module in and choose it from the drop-down menu.
5.) Click “Add/Green Arrow” on the right side of the Control Panel to add module to pane. You can also arrange multiple modules within the same pane by choosing to insert to the top or bottom of the pane, and control alignment from the module manager.
You'll follow this same procedure to add any available module type to your site.
Once you've finished making your changes, go to the bottom of the page and click on Update to save them:
